After announcing our 0.4.1 release of the LSA_Toolkit in November, we set to work finishing up a number of tasks that were slated for the planned 0.5 release. In the midst of our additional research projects, several new changes moved up in the queue and it became apparent that we needed to go ahead and make some architectural changes that had been originally planned for further down the road. Soon it became an all or nothing free for all, and what was going to be a gradual release of increments such as 0.5, 0.6, and so on, turned into a giant leap forward to what we are now calling the 1.0 release of the LSA_Toolkit library for Latent Semantic Analysis.
Easier to use, more complete functionality, and a better way to conceptualize your data collection are the key descriptors for this new release. We are currently beta testing the release package and fine tuning the documentation. A release announcement is expected by the end of the week. Stay tuned for more details.
